Khaled Al-Gosaibi, Saudi minister of economy and planning has said the kingdom's information and communication technologies sector is set to see a total investment of SR50bn ($13bn) by 2015, Arab News has reported. Products and services in the ICT sector across the kingdom have recorded a growth rate of 18.5% between 2001 and 2009. The size of the total investment both in public and private sector amounted SR22.3bn by 2009, Al-Gosaibi said.
