Oman IT Authority (ITA) has taken a key step forward in its drive to promote free software by partnering with the leading three higher education institutions in the country. The partnership outlines the levels of co-operation to develop and strengthen a culture of free software in the society.
In partnership with the ITA, SMCE has delivered on this initiative a series of LPI programs to raise awareness about the importance of free software and its applications, and present free software as a convincing option available alongside proprietary ones.

GASCO has selected ITIL as the framework of choice for its IT Service Management initiative. In order to achieve its objectives, GASCO has partnered with SMCE for the delivery of a comprehensive ITIL certification program leading to Expert level certification for select managers.
National Bank of Abu Dhabi
SMCE has delivered a series of COBIT training in order to satisfy the increasing demands of governance in the UAE particularly in the financial sector. Participants spanned a wide range from auditors to management to IT personnel.
Abu Dhabi Men’s College, HCT
SMCE has structured a program for training HCT instructors to become accredited trainers for the entire ITIL programs. The program commenced in November 2009, and will end by August 2010.
